Banana depot.This man gave us hungry cyclists an entire hand of bananas.

Cycling a rough limestone track.A remote track leading to Gibara from the west. Thank god for kevlar belted tires.

Cigar factory.Cigars being hand rolled in a factory in Gibara. One of Cuba's largest exports.

Cuba de Vuelta.Late in a 205km stage. The guys in yellow and black are on the Canadian team, Symetrics, and one of their riders won the race!

Street baseball.Kids play baseball wherever they can, with a stick and tennis ball if need be.

Market in Camaguey.One of the few 'free market' agricultural markets in Cuba.

Casa particulares in Gibara.This casa is run by a French chef. Fantastic food!

Guardalavaca.The tree shaded beach at Guardalavaca.

Bicycle taxis.Many people hire bicycle taxis to get around town. Most have shade canopies and some even have CD players.

Nickel smelter.This aging, filthy nickel smelter blights the air and land near Moa.

Palmas RealesAn extremely tall type of palm tree.
